Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) turned what was meant to be a slam towards her on its head Friday, ripping a former senior Donald Trump marketing campaign adviser and different Republican foes as “creepy weirdos.”
Then in a weird bonus slam in regards to the photograph that Cortes had posted of the couple, reportedly dining outdoors in Miami Beach, Cortes criticized Roberts for “exhibiting his gross pale male ft … with hideous sandals.”
AOC sarcastically slapped down the odd remark as an indication of sexual frustration.
“If Republicans are mad they’ll’t date me they’ll simply say that as a substitute of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s ft,” she tweeted in a sly dig. She added: “Ya creepy weirdos.”
“It’s beginning to get previous ignoring the very apparent, unusual, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, girls,& LGBT+ folks normally,” she wrote.
Cortes didn’t instantly reply to a request from HuffPost to touch upon AOC’s takedown.
Twitter followers obtained in on the hijinks. One quipped with the query: “A republican attacking a man for being pale?”
